GOLNAR SARONG
Our sarong is much more than a simple accessory, it's a truly wearable work of art that transports you to a mystical elsewhere.
Illustration Story
This print draws its inspiration from the Persian meaning of "Golnar", evoking the pomegranate flower, symbol of fertility and beauty. It is influenced by Oriental Art Nouveau, recalling the magnificent paintings of Alphonse Mucha, where flowers intertwine and climb in a delicate, bewitching ballet. These motifs seem to form a totem pole, where the half-Persian, half-Indian goddess stands majestically, hypnotizing and bewitching those who dare challenge the balance of her red pomegranates.
A note from the artist
I was inspired by the richness of Oriental Art Nouveau, which celebrates nature and the beauty of flora. Intertwined flowers painted in watercolor evoke a sense of fluidity and harmony, recalling the graceful movement of plants as they unfurl and grow.
I invite you to immerse yourself in this contemplation of harmony between cultures, to feel the connection between the dancing flowers and the goddess enthroned at the center. Be entranced by the elegance of the intertwined flowers and the inner strength of the goddess, and may it inspire you to embrace the wonders and riches of art and culture.
