AYO SARONG
Our sarong is much more than a simple accessory, it's a truly wearable work of art that transports you to a mystical elsewhere.
Illustration Story
Ayo is an open door to a deeply moving encounter with two women from the Masai and Samburu tribes in Kenya. The sun is in the background, symbolizing their philosophy of happiness in the form of circles.
A note from the artist
I've tried to convey the idea that happiness is a never-ending circle, a wheel that turns into eternity. These women, steeped in their cultural heritage, remind us that true joy lies in the simplicity of life, in harmony with nature and in the deep bonds we forge with our community. This is the philosophy of the Masai.
By wrapping yourself in this sarong, I invite you to connect with this philosophy of circular happiness. May you feel the warmth of the sun illuminating these two exceptional women, and may this sensation guide you into a contemplative, meditative state. May this sarong become for you much more than a simple textile, but a window onto the soul of these two tribes, an invitation to celebrate the beauty of life and to cherish our cultural heritage that links us all, beyond borders and differences.
