GHADA SARONG
Our sarong is much more than a simple accessory, it's a truly wearable work of art that transports you to a mystical elsewhere.
Illustration Story
The illustration is an invitation to immerse oneself in the hand-painted reds that adorn the white walls of the houses in a Libyan village. The red hand-painted motifs evoke a sense of warmth and conviviality, recalling the community life and ancient traditions of this picturesque village.
A note from the artist
In creating this print, I wanted to capture the essence of this village, to convey its timeless charm and celebrate its rich cultural heritage. The geometric patterns and vibrant colors are a celebration of the craftsmanship and know-how of the local community, who continue to perpetuate these age-old traditions.
This sarong is a way for me to celebrate the beauty that can be found in the most unexpected places. The red paintings on the white walls of the houses reflect a history, emotions and a deep connection with the land and culture. I wanted this print to be an invitation to explore this Libyan village, to let yourself be transported back in time, and to feel the harmony that emanates from these paintings.
