JAHELI SARONG WHITE
Our sarong is much more than a simple accessory, it's a truly wearable work of art that transports you to a mystical elsewhere.
ILLUSTRATION STORY
Have you ever seen a hibiscus flower weaver? And a Persian dancer from the 70s? With a saree sparkling with burgundy sequins and a multicolored crochet jumper, Jaheli women use their charm to weave garnet-red flower necklaces with their graceful hands.
A WORD FROM THE ARTIST
In this print, I sought to celebrate the fusion of cultures and traditions, weaving together elements of a sari adorned with burgundy tassels and a multicolored crocheted sweater. The result is a breathtaking tribute to the women of the Rajasthani tribes, who skillfully use their graceful hands to craft mesmerizing necklaces of garnet-red flowers.
As you wrap yourself in this sarong, I hope you feel the same sense of wonder and awe that I experienced while creating this print. May it serve as a reminder that art has the power to bridge gaps, to bring joy, and to celebrate the unique beauty that resides in every corner of our world.
