GALINA SARONG
Our sarong is much more than a simple accessory, it's a truly wearable work of art that transports you to a mystical elsewhere.
Illustration Story
Galina is a representation of the Pachamama, Mother Earth revered in pre-Columbian traditions. She is surrounded by parakeets and parrots, sacred birds that symbolize beauty, freedom and connection with nature. This portrait was drawn with Japanese felt-tip pens and pencils, to bring this emblematic figure to life in a vibrant, expressive way.
A note from the artist
I've been deeply inspired by ancient beliefs that honor Mother Earth and celebrate the harmony between Human and nature. In creating this print, I wanted to pay homage to Pachamama and the bird spirits, capturing their beauty and wisdom in an artistic representation.
Galina is adorned with pre-Columbian headdresses featuring majestic feathers, echoing the spiritual importance of sacred birds in ancient cultures. Feathers symbolize the connection with the sky and spiritual worlds, as well as the sacred bond between humans and celestial beings.
